English to Hindi Translation

For the learners of English language, resources providing English to Hindi translation and vice versa are extensively used and hold an important place in learning English. Many of the language teachers do not encourage using the English to Hindi online translation tool for learning. They think that it is not the correct method of learning. This is true because online translation tools do not give you hundred percent correct translated sentences. They have some errors in them. Most of the time the sentence structure is not correct and thereby the meaning of the sentence is lost because they are grammatically incorrect. If a person is learning a new language then s/he would be advised to learn the grammar rules of the new language rather than directly translating sentences from Hindi to English.

But for those who are not learning the language but want error free translated sentences then there are few good resources on the website that they can use for translation like Shabdkosh. Shabdkosh offers translations in almost all Indian languages like Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malyalam, Marathi, Punjabi, Tamil, and Telugu. It is always best to double check the results of translations with someone who knows both English and Hindi well.

In order to know meanings of words it is advisable for learners to have one Hindi-English or English-Hindi dictionaries with themselves. These dictionaries will help learners to a great extent. To strengthen your vocabulary skills it is also recommended to use thesaurus or download one on your laptop or mobile.
